Prop Hunting for Jeanie in the Radiator Promo

Today has been very interesting, I went to UPMCR a used furniture and antique prop goldmine! They have everything you would ever need from sofas, chairs, tables, lamps, rugs, old framed graduation photos! I've managed to procure a full black chesterfield suite a large rug an antique floor lamp to complete the look for the interview.

Glitter kittens Christmas show poster design

The first draft waiting for changes and sign off

Got a bit of post Monday night 5-a-side poster design in this evening.  As per usual with these I got the bit between my teeth and wasn't content on leaving it half finished, so the first draft was done in just under 2 hours from scratch, another late night but it was a fun little project!

Jeanie in the Radiator - Promo Location Recce

Just been to the old colgate factory in Salford to take a look at possible filming locations for the upcoming Jeanie in the radiator promo shoot. It turned out to be just what I was looking for, industrial, stark and massive! Just got to find some period furniture to contrast with the industrial setting and we are nearly ready to go!

"Scar Tissue Films" & "The Faceless" Logo animations

In between watching Dicaprio-Scorsese collaborations (The Departed and Shutter Island if you must know - Both FANTASTIC!) I spent the weekend stuck inside working on a couple of title animations for my friend @RickKinsella at Scar Tissue Films I also got carried away and made a short intro sting for a Technology based video blog I am looking to set-up soon.  Check out the videos after the break...

The Faceless VFX Test Shoot

My friend Rick Kinsella over at scar tissue films has been working on a script for a psychological horror over the past year or so and I helped him organise, shoot and edit a short visual effects/proof of concept video.  We shot it guerilla style in one night in Manchester city centre on Canon's superb 7D HD-DSLR with help of a great camera op and friend Alex Dove.  Results after the break...
